Special Events Information for 2019 Saturday, 22nd June Winter Solstice   Shortest Day / Longest Night Thursday, 27th June Bootids Meteor Shower  Will be seen low in the northern sky between 6:00 and 11:00 pm. Thursday, 4th July Mercury, Mars, and Moon   As dusk falls, see this beautiful triad involving the thin crescent of the moon. Wednesday, 17th July  Partial Lunar Eclipse Peaking around 7:30 am. + The 50 Year Commemoration of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing Benalla Library, 6:30 - 8:00 pm.    Presentations, original film footage, activities, memorabilia.   Night Sky tour following.
