Special Events Information for 2019 Wednesday, 10th April Close conjunction of Venus & Neptune To be seen in the Eastern pre-dawn skies   Only 0.5 degrees apart. Friday, 19th April Good Friday   Always the first Friday following the Full Moon after the Autumn Equinox. Monday, 22nd April Lyrids Meteor Shower (approx. 18 per hour)   To be observed low in northern skies between 5:00 - 6:00 am Thursday, 25th April Saturn occulted by Moon (low in East) at midnight. Monday, 6th May  Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower (approx. 30 per hour)   3:00 - 6:00 am Thursday, 9th May Benalla Scouts Moon Viewing Night
